Reliant Medical Transport is an emergent / non-emergent private
ambulance company founded this year and located in the Mount
Pleasant area.Our
company is locally owned and operated by health care
professionals that are determined to fix what is wrong with the
private ambulance industry.
Namely, our goals are to provide courteous, professional
care to our patients while providing
prompt, on time response for the healthcare facilities and
customers that we
serve.We are
licensed as an
advanced
life support (
ALS) provider through the South
Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC)
and carry full coverage professional and general liability
insurance policies.

medical emergencies through the use of advanced medical
techniques by a qualified person pursuant to these

Rob Rodrigues has over 15 years of
emergency, trauma, critical care and transport
experience. Rob’s most recent position prior to coming
to our company was Charge Nurse of the 23 bed Level 1
Trauma Center at the Medical University of South
Carolina. Rob continues to serve the community as an
adjunct faculty member at the MUSC College of Nursing.
His award winning career includes accolades such as, the
2007 Nurse of the Year for the MUSC Medical Center (the
first ED nurse and first male nurse to receive this
distinction) and the 2006 Palmetto Gold 100 award. Rob
